About Exosome Analytics

Exosome Analytics was founded in 2021 to develop innovative technologies allowing the detection of low-represented markers on extracellular vesicles (EVs). Based on these techniques, Exosome Analytics develops diagnostic platforms for early cancer screening and tumor profiling.

Exosomes are the population of membrane vesicles secreted by normal and pathological cells. They carry the same biomarkers (proteins, DNA and RNA) as the cell of origin and can therefore be considered as its "molecular portrait".

Exosome analysis can be used in liquid biopsy tests to detect and profile tumors. However pathological exosomes are just a small fraction (1-10%) of total exosome population: highly sensitive detection techniques are therefore required to detect cancer biomarkers. Exosome Analytics has developed technologies that address this challenge and offer sensitivities that are order of magnitude above that of existing products.
